The world's largest gathering of Porsche race cars and drivers is returning to the Monterey Peninsula, as the next Porsche Rennsport Reunion will occur at the famed Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca from September 27 through September 30, 2018.
Porsche holds these events as a way to bring together quite the collection of historic Porsche race cars, as well as their designers, engineers and drivers. Hosted by Porsche Cars North America, the four-day event includes on-track competitions and a Concours d'Elegance that is open to invited race participants.
The first three Rennsport Reunions were held on the east coast of the United States. In 2011, PCNA moved Rennsport Reunion IV west to draw in the vast numbers of aficionados on the west coast. In 20156, Rennsport Reunion V attracted more than 1,300 Porsche Club of America member-owned models -- with show fields, race classes and parking lots filled to overflow capacity.
