The 2019 Porsche Cayenne is just around the corner. As a prelude to its arrival, here are some of Kelley Blue Book's favprote 2019 Cayenne features from their initial ride in a new Cayenne:

  • Rear-Axle Steering: Similar to its sports-car cousin, the 911, the Cayenne's rear wheels turn ever-so slightly as the front wheels turn, which helps increase the Cayenne's maneuverability and increases agility and stability.
  • Staggered Wheels: The newest Cayenne sports different side tires in the front and rear for the first time in its production. While wheel diameter stays consistent, wheel width changes from front to rear, helping with grip and precision.
  • Built In "Anti-Curbing": The new Cayenne sports an intelligent system to help prevent "curbing" your wheels. At speeds below six miles per hour, this system (part of the available ParkAssist Plus package) alerts drivers if they are about to collide with something or scrape their wheels.
  • Brake Dust Prevention: A brand new Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) technology debuts on the new Cayenne to help prevent brake dust before it builds up. Anyone familiar with German car brake dust will love this feature!
