If there is one thing all Porsche owners have in common, it's their love of driving. Our showroom in Durham is filled with nimble performance vehicles that elegantly combine handling with just the right power-to-weight ratio for the ideal driving experience. These cars tempt you to take them out just for fun, find the curviest road around, and drive a little too fast.

Halloween, however, is not the night for a pleasure cruise.

According to Safe Kids Worldwide, children are about twice as likely to be hit by a vehicle on Halloween than any other day of the year. Trick-or-treaters are out in droves after dark, often wearing dark costumes, and so over-excited about getting to the next house for more candy, they may run into the street without warning.

Porsche drivers can help protect the community by staying off the roads on Halloween night, if possible. If you must drive, turn your headlights on for maximum visibility (even before dark), stay alert and free from distractions, and don't give in to your engine's purring for attention—drive below the posted speed limit.
