C.J. Wilson has made the jump from baseball to racing, and he’s all in.
Wilson has spent a lot of his free time behind the wheel. He’s a motorsport enthusiast and has raced a lot of club events, but now he’s going for it in the big leagues. (No pun intended, but we’re glad it happened.)
Kudos to Wilson for recognizing that he’s going to have to work hard at this, even with his automotive experience. It sounds like he’s really committed to his new racing career with Porsche and we can’t wait to see how far he takes it. He may be at the back half of the pack for now, but he’s essentially in the middle of the standings and that’s a respectable position, especially given his rookie status.
It’s clear this isn’t Wilson’s first time in a Porsche, but he has some work ahead of him. Good thing he’s up for the challenge! We look forward to seeing some wins for Wilson.
