While other automakers normally unveil their vehicles at car shows or national car-specific expos, Porsche has chosen an unlikely stage: E3. The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is a large event usually reserved for videogame news, technology, and releases, but Porsche has now added car reveals to that list. Electronic Expos have becoming a more popular place for flashy unveils like this, but it is still not considered to be a normal occurrence.

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS that was unveiled is being featured on the cover of a new racing game, so it is not too out-of-place. The 911 GT2 RS will feature nearly 300 horsepower, and will be powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine.
