If you can't remember the last time you got your brakes serviced, then it is probably a good time to get them serviced. A good rule of thumb is to have them checked every 12,000 miles or if it's been over a year since the last service. You don't want to find out your breaks are no good when you're flying down a steep hill and a car pulls out in front of you!

Other indications that it's time for a brake service, is if your vehicle pulls to the side when you apply the brake, if your brake pedal reaches the floor or close to it, or if your brake feels spongy. All are bad signs. Other things to look for include squealing or grinding sounds, funky smells, or if you need the length of a football field to stop in time.

You invested a great deal of time and money into your vehicle. Take a preventative approach to maintaining the health of your brakes, before they become unsafe and costly to repair. Visit our service center to get them checked by a professional!
