Preserving your Porsche's appearance and performance during the winter months is a whole different animal from warm-weather maintenance. We know you're concerned about both the style and substance of your vehicle, which is why we've compiled some winter car care tips for our Chapel Hill, NC drivers.
If you're worried about salt and slush harming the paint, as most Porsche drivers are, thoroughly washing your car regularly and use a synthetic sealant to preserve and protect. The harsh bristles on the end of an ice scraper can also be unkind to the paint, so you might want to consider using your hand to remove snow.
Vacuuming often obviously protects your floor and mats from permanent damage -- but there's obviously more to a Porsche than just its looks. Freezing temperatures can cause poorly maintained parts to worsen or break, which is why it's important to bring your Porsche into the Service Center here at Performance Porsche for all of its regular check-ups.
