We've been reporting on Porsche sales records quite often on our blog lately. This is because the luxury automaker continues to post impressive increases worth sharing with all of you in the Chapel Hill, NC area. Following a strong month of June sales, was an even more impressive looking July. Let's take a peek at the details.

A total of 3,820 new Porsche models were sold this July. When compared to July of 2012 this is an increase of 36 percent. So far this year a total of 25,129 vehicles have been sold within the U.S, already a 31 percent boost over last year and we still have the second half of 2013 to go!

Leading the lineup with the strongest sales was the Porsche Cayenne with a year-to-date increase of 46 percent and 11,082 vehicles sold. Holding steady with sales was also the Porsche 911 which this year is celebrating its 50th anniversary. During the first half of the year it has sold 6,120 units, a boost of 11 percent.

President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, Inc., further explains the success of the automaker this year, stating, "In addition to enjoying a successful sales month, we were also recently recognized as the top brand in the annual J.D. Power APEAL Study -- for the ninth consecutive year. This provides a compelling message as we plan for bringing the new Panamera line, including our first plug-in hybrid, to the U.S. market this fall."1

There is certainly an exciting future ahead for the brand, and all of us here at Performance Porsche can't wait to see what's in store. To learn more, we encourage you to visit our showroom anytime during our normal business hours to check out what these best-selling models have to offer!
