Performance Porsche is the place to go if you're interested in learning more about the new Porsche of your dreams. With that said, let us tell you more about what the new compact crossover the German automaker has in the works.

For some time now, Porsche has been developing a smaller version of the Porsche Cayenne. And while its development has been kept a secret for the most part, it hasn't stopped spy photographers from trying to snap a images of the new model being tested.

This has allowed us to gather up some interesting information on the Porsche Macan thus far in its development. The only problem: automotive camouflage. In effort to disguise the vehicle they it distorts the look of the exterior so that the competition doesn't steal any ideas before they make it to the market. We completely understand its use, but dislike the fact that it stops us from being able to fully appreciate what Porsche has in store in the near future.

That's why we're happy to say that the Porsche Macan has finally been spotted without any automotive camouflage. But doesn't this news leave room for other automakers to swoop in and steal the design? True to what we suspected, it does indeed look like a smaller version of the Cayenne crossover. In other words, Porsche isn't worried about other automakers stealing the core design as it's already on the market in a larger size.
