The introduction of the four-door Porsche Panamera sedan was quite a shock to the new Porsche lineup that Performance Porsche offers to greater Chapel Hill-area drivers. Nevertheless, it was a welcome one that's opened up the minds of Porsche enthusiasts everywhere as to the possibility of other more conventional offerings.
So what does Porsche have planned next in the world of practical-yet-performance-driven cars?
Many drivers who love the Porsche Panamera say that the only complaint they can think of is that there are times when they could use more space. That said, Porsche is planning to address this issue by unveiling an all-new Panamera wagon model at the 2012 Paris Motor Show later this month.
As we approach the show, details on the model are currently few and far between. What we do know is that the model is likely to stay a concept for at least a few years before making it into production. In fact, some say the model may not even reach a production run until 2016.
That won't stop us from enjoying every moment that the Porsche Panamera wagon concept is on the floor of the Paris Motor Show, however. It also won't stop us from updating you on details that moment we hear anything. That said, be sure to stay tuned to the Performance Porsche blog for an update on the Panamera wagon concept.
Or, if you prefer the style and immediate availability of the original sedan version, be sure to contact Performance Porsche for a test drive at 1810 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. Chapel Hill, NC today.
