Porsche is well known for their fast paced sports cars, and now for spectacular sedans like the Porsche Panamera. In fact, Panamera is one of their best selling models globally. But the car, like other Porsche vehicles, tends to come with a manual gearbox.
The German auto maker is afraid this is keeping them from a huge North American market, as many in The United States and Canada are so used to driving automatic.Beginning on future models, Porsche plans to have automatic transmission for all Panameras.
There are also rumors that the next gen variant will "underpin the Lamborghini Estoque and several upcoming Bentleys." We are unsure of that means those luxury autos will also be auto-trans-only.1Even more exciting reports state that future Porsche Panamera
models will include an electric power steering system for greater fuel economy.
