For those Porsche fans who like speed and precision, you'll want to check out the Porsche 997 GT3 on the track. Lucky for us, Porsche was doing a promotional shoot for the car and has some great video which is linked below.
To run the car through its paces the German race team, Manthey Racing, got to drive the Porsche 997 RS, which was based on the Porsche 911, and they were able to hit speeds that were out of this world. Not only that, but the car still handled beautifully"We get to see the usual slick fly-bys but also some solid in-car footage and other shots from many angles in this top-notch production. Top speed reached in this run was 147 mph and that was done in 5th gear."
Luckily Porsche captured this event on video which can be found by clicking here.Porsche continues to break barriers of speed and performance. And now, Porsche plans to work on affordability, with great leasing options and news that the auto maker will produce a line of smaller, more "economy" class vehicles in the near future.
