The much anticipated and awaited 991 Porsche 911 has finally leaked photos online of the 2012 model. Being an iconic coupe the design has not changed too much, keeping the classic styling intact. There are new LED running lamps and revised air intakes and thinner taillights, but otherwise this car is not much different than the current 997 911 out on the road.

There are some big changes, although not all evident at first glance. The car is 2 inches longer than the current 911 and features revised 6-cylinder engines. The base Carrera uses a 3.4-liter direct-injected flat-six, with 350 horsepower and 280 pound-foot of torque. The Carrera S will use a direct-injected 3.8-liter unit, with 400 horsepower. Both engines will be mated to a seven-speed manual or PDK clutch transmission with launch control.

The inside of the 911 is much like the Panamera, with a downward-sloping center console.
