Employees Give Back by Feeding Easter Dinners to Local Families

Do you know about the 2018 Spring Meal Drive?  It is an initiative founded by Hendrick Automotive Group in 2011 to provide Easter meals for families in the Southeast. This initiative is a part of the Hendrick Cares philosophy focus: Employees, Customers and Community.  The goal has increased since 2011 and this year Hendrick Cares will provide Easter meals for 7,500 families across the Southeast.  The list below are the non-perishable items our employees purchase and Hendrick provides a pie and ham to complete each dinner. These items are boxed and distributed to local families in our community by the InterFaith Food Shuttle.

 

 

Our employee receive a bag and each bag represents one family.  Many of our employees want to take more than one bag and a wonderful example of the spirit of giving  and giving is the challenge between Finance Manager Jon Hilliard and Brand Ambassador Kim Smith to see who can collect the most bags.

We like to show our employees how much we appreciate them taking time to purchase these items, so when they picked up their bags, we made sure they had their own tummies filled with delicious pizza.
